Michelle Viskovich

Michelle has been painting for 25 years and is inspired by the natural environment around her. Having spent her youth at Piha on the west coast of Tāmaki Makaurau, Michelle paints landscapes and seascapes by combining abstract techniques with realism to capture the vibrancy and luminosity of colours. Michelle's work involves subtle mark-making with palette knives and brushes to manipulate acrylic paint on board and paper. Michelle's works are held in collections in New Zealand and overseas.
