Amie Redpath

Amie began sculpting stone nine years ago, with the functional form of the mortar and pestle. Her work has evolved to include bass relief and fine detail in the form of vessels, sculpture, and jewellery. She is influenced by the ocean and coastal environment. She draws from ancient art forms and cultures as sources of inspiration. She strives to raise awareness of the plight of bird and marine life through her works.
