Adele Eagleson

Adele loves to paint the landscape and its relationship with sea and sky. Where a painting ends up is not always intentional, but what is intentional is capturing or suggesting a memory of a place in our subconsciousness. Adele’s works explore abstract seas with landforms that are derived mostly from her imagination, but are also inspired by the beauty of New Zealand. She enjoys playing with layers, building up, paring back, scraping, and excavating parts to reveal colours underneath, then repainting.
